We are a bio-diverse reforestation and land regeneration project, offering carbon neutral accommodation in self-catering studio apartments or rooms in up-cycled containers. By choosing to stay with us, you are offsetting your carbon footprint by helping us fund tree planting and land regeneration, thereby reducing carbon in the air.
Nestled between the mystical Monchique mountains and the Algarve sea with 21 hectares of abundant natural surroundings, Awakeland is a place to breathe, to feel and simply be. We offer accommodation, 5 natural lakes, yoga, meditation, guided tours of our project and more!
There are hiking trails, cycling circuits, horse riding trails and plenty more attractions in the area.
When you choose to stay at Awakeland, you’re also choosing to make the world a better place because all our profits go towards our bio-diverse reforestation project. We’ve planted more than 13000 trees and regenerated all our land with cover crops and other regeneration techniques.

Private rooms, shared bathroom and toilets. Eco air conditioned up-cycled marine containers converted into rooms.
Each room accommodates from 1 – 3 people.
